Holds a Nidan in Tae Kwon Do from the American TKD Association with more than 9 years training; took first class in Vee-jitsu in November of 1999; then began to study regularly in May of 2000; as studied other arts, such as Hapkido, Aiki jiu-jitsu; Kempo, and Brazilian Ju-jitsu; has been an instructor of TKD and Vee-jitsu. |

2004 – received Nidan (Second Black) in Vee-jitsu from Jim Roma, Kudan |
2005 – received Sandan (Third Black) in Vee-jitsu from Jim Roma, Kudan |
2009 -- received Yodan [Fourth Black; also called Yondan] from Jim Roma, Kudan |
Sensei Lance has continued to train and to teach. He has also achieved high instructor level in the Filipino stick style called Balintawak. He has been trained by well-known Balintawak instructor, Dr. Patrick Schmitt and personally trained and tested by Grand Master, Bobby Taboada.
